August 19, 2022 (Friday night)
The Brookfield Library Foundation welcomes hilarious headliner Chris Monty, hosted by Howie Mason and featuring Rick Roberts for a PG comedy show at the Brookfield Theatre for the Arts. There is no better way to kick off the weekend and support a great cause!
Broadway in Brookfield!
October 1 - 3, 2021 (Fri - Sun)
The Brookfield Library Foundation hosted its first major fundraiser. The play Love Letters was performed at The Brookfield Theater for the Arts the first weekend in October.
Starring Gwen Arment and Steve Belida, Brookfield's own Broadway actors and producers. Gwen is a producer of The Prom and Come from Away on Broadway.
Gwen and Steve have enjoyed Brookfield as their home away from the bustle of New York City for many years and offered to give back to Brookfield by performing Love Letters as a fundraiser for the Brookfield Library Foundation.
We are so grateful for their generosity!
The play Love Letters opened in 1988, first performed at the New York City Library by the author, A.R. Gurney, and Holland Taylor. Love Letters was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
